No 126. This  wool braid is a copy of the Snartemo pattern. Dyed using Lichen Indigo and Madder

These 8 braids were woven using natural wool colours from the Jacobs sheep for an Iron Age museum in Bavaria. Two of them have been dyed using chemical dyes.

No 125. This Saxon Diamond pattern approx 5/8” wide and 12' long was dyed using Madder, Indigo and Weld.

This page has some samples of braids that I have woven, mainly to order, and sold. However if anyone is interested in any of them I can repeat the pattern.
