With the start of the new 2007-08 season, the Stirchley Juniors have many new exciting plans. Not only is the local club scene growing, but there is more involvement planned both within the county and with Warwickshire (and beyond!).
The Committee have in previous years have been opposed to the Junior's entering the U25 Dual Rink Natioinal Competition...in spite of heartfelt pleas from The Editor. Last year great efforts were made to enter a joint team with Solihull, but this raised problems at HQ...so the junior's were disappointed again.
This year for no apparent reason, we are to have an U25 dual rink team...and we are all looking forward to this challenge. We know it wiil be very hard against certain older and 'experienced U25' teams...but lets see.
After all, quite often any cup is about the luck of "The Draw".
