Welcome to the website for the Stirling Hillwalking Club. Members meet every second Sunday at a set meeting place in Stirling and travel to the walks in cars.

There is a wide age range, from 18 - 70+ years. The walks are planned and led by the members and we always welcome new routes and venues.

The winter programme tends to have low level walks within easy travelling distance. In summer we go further afield and have some more challenging hikes.

Stirling Hillwalking Club meets on alternate weeks from Dunblane Rambling Club. Many of the members belong to both clubs.

Weekend trips
The club has occasional weekend trips, for example, to the Lake District or Galloway.

Twelve members of the club had an enjoyable weekend in the lake District from 11- 13th April 2008.
We climbed Grizedale Pike in the rain, hail and snow on the Saturday and on Sunday had a sunny dry day on Cat Bells and High Spy.
