New programme

Welcome to the website for the Stirling Hillwalking Club. We are an independent club with approximately 50 members.

The members' ages, hillwalking experience and ability vary. The programme has walks to suit different levels.

The walks are planned and led by the members and we always welcome new routes and venues.

We meet every second Sunday at a set meeting place in Stirling and travel to the walks in cars. The winter programme tends to have low level walks within easy travelling distance. In summer we go further afield and have some more challenging hikes.

The club has occasional weekend trips. In April and October 2008 some club members went to the Lake District.

In April we climbed Grizedale Pike, Cat Bells and High Spy and in October Skiddaw and Haystacks. See some photos of the weekends.

Stirling Hillwalking Club meets on alternate weeks from Dunblane Rambling Club. and many of the members belong to both clubs.
