Child Protection

St. James’ Church operates a clear Child Protection Policy
for the safety of children and, also, helpers.

Sundays

On Sunday mornings there is provision for children
according to various age ranges.

A creche is available for children under three,
taking place throughout the service
until just before the administration of Holy Communion.

“Discoverers” Sunday School is made up of three age groups,
between four and eleven years of age.

“Quest” is for older children, aged roughly between eleven and fourteen.

“Flame” is a group for young people who have moved on from Quest.
Discoverers and Quest take place during the first fifty minutes
of Sunday Family Communion, after which the children join the adults in the church.
