BISHOP MARK – travels to Quebec during October to meet with Bishop Denis to discuss twinning the Diocese. MOTHERS UNION – meeting on Tuesday 13th October at 2.00 pm in the Parish Room. All welcome. ALTAR GUILD and SACRISTY ISSUES - TRAINING DAY - Saturday the 17th of October at Saint Andrew’s Church, Fortrose 10:30am - 2:00pm. Please see Notice Board or Diocesan Web Site for details. FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE – Monday 26th October at 2.00 pm in the Parish Room. DIOCESAN SYNOD – Saturday 31st October. Eucharist at 10.30 am Service of Light 3.45 pm, in the Cathedral - ALL WELCOME. TRAIDCRAFT – the next sale at St John’s is November 1st following the 10.00 am Eucharist. COFFEE MORNING – Sat 7th November in the Town Hall. VOCATIONS GATHERING - THE DIACONATE - Saturday 7th November 10:30 am - 2:30 pm What is a Deacon? What came first - the priest or the deacon? NEW DIOCESAN WEBSITE – the Diocese has a new website www.moray.anglican.org do visit and have a look! CLOTHING RECYCLING – St John’s now has a Textile Red Recycling Bin outside the Sacristy Door. Please place any clean clothes, shoes, handbags, underwear, towels, linens, curtains & bed sheets in the bin. Unfortunately we cannot accept duvets, pillows & cushions. St John’s receives 25p a kilo, that is £250 a ton for all that we recycle. The bin is emptied on a regular basis.
