80th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS (click on the links below to see the photographs)

August 2005 saw us celebrating the 80th anniversary of the opening of our church in 1925.

We celebrated by holding a special Mass on Monday 1st August concelebrated by Cardinal Keith Patrick O'Brien and a number of former priests and friends of the parish.

The Mass was followed by a cheese and wine party in the church hall.

We also had a large exhibition of old photographs (most of which can be seen on this website).

On Wednesday 3rd we held a family barbecue complete with music and 'bouncy castle' for the children.

On Friday 5th August we held a parish dance.
