Facilities

Faces south with estuary views in a quiet residential area.
Ros is an artist who paints gardens. Her style shows both in her home and her lovely garden of winding paths through trees and shrubs and peaceful sun traps in which to sit and relax. Her garden has fish ponds, hens, thatched summerhouse and barbecue facilities - also an outdoor swimming pool. Meals may be served outdoors and guests may bring their own wine. There is very good off-road parking.

Enjoy Ros's guest lounge with patio door access to the garden, large colour LCD TV and video/DVD - many books to read and board/card games are available. The house is centrally heated, double-glazed, with availability of open fires in winter.

Ros is very pleased to serve evening meals by arrangement.

How to find us

N.B. Remember to bypass Barnstaple by using the new bridge over the River Taw – just as you reach the roundabout on the edge of Barnstaple continue on the A39, marked Ilfracombe /Bideford, then at the third roundabout take the Ilfracombe road to Braunton, crossing over the new bridge to get back on to the A361.

Arriving at Braunton from Barnstaple on the A361:
Turn right immediately after the pedestrian traffic lights in the centre of the village with the National Westminster Bank on the corner. At the top of Heanton Street turn left then immediately right into Lower Park Road. Continue along until you see a large red brick building (Tyspane Nursing Home on the gatepost) on the left. Turn left immediately after this into an unmarked lane, with new houses on your right. At the top of this lane turn right and continue for approximately 200 yards. We are the pink house with copper beech trees in front - on the right-hand side of the road.
