page updated

If you are trying to put together your family tree, read on, we might be able to point you in the right direction.

If you discover a famous or infamous ancestor, let us know!

What do your parish records cover?
The formal records cover Baptisms, Banns, Marriages and Burials.

Where are your parish records kept?
We keep in church only those registers that are in current use.All our earlier
registers are kept in a purpose built site in Woking at Surrey History Centre
130 Goldsworth Road Woking GU21 1ND
Tel: 01483 594594
email: shs@surreycc.gov.uk
web site: www.shs.surreycc.gov.uk

So how do we access your records?
If you are looking for an entry in a current register, then contact the Rector.
The information can be mailed to you (a donation to cover time/postage
would go down well!).
If you are looking for information from archived registers, you need to
contact the Surrey History Centre directly (see above), or selective years
can be purchased from the West Surrey Family History Society.
