Below is a photograph of the memorial to Cornet Francis Geary in Flemington, Hunterdon Co, New Jersey.  Our thanks to Richard Higgins who took the photos and brought them to St Nicolas Church on a visit to the UK. (March 2006) (Legend says that Cornet Francis Geary haunted the wood where he was killed). The GEARYs lived at Polesden Lacey, Gt Bookham from 1847 onwards - see the GEARY ancestry
