Can you get married at St Nicolas?

  IF:

at least one of you lives in the parish of Gt Bookham, (in the period leading up to your wedding)
         or
you live within reach of St Nicolas and could attend over a period of six months and then apply
to be on the church’s electoral roll
          or
you don’t live in Bookham now, but you did. Perhaps one of you grew up here and parents
still live here - then you can apply for an Archbishops Special Licence which may be granted.

Flowers The church has people who are willing to arrange flowers for weddings. We ask for a donation of £80 towards the cost of flowers (although this may vary depending on the flowers). Alternatively, you are very welcome to use your own florist. We are, of course, always grateful for flowers left in church after the wedding. approx  £80.00

Marriage Preparation
Because marriage is about more than just the wedding, we arrange an opportunity for couples to get together to think through some of the joys and challenges of being married. This usually takes place on a Saturday from 9.30am-3.00pm.

What next?
Please make an initial enquiry to the Rector, Alan Jenkins (01372 452405).
If it looks likely that you might be married at St Nicolas, he will arrange to meet with you.
