Situated in Bean, Kent, on the B255 and easily reached from the A2, the Park has been formed on the site of a disused clay pit. Running across the centre of the park is a 5 metre high cliff formed by a thrust fault where Tertiary strata of London Clay, Blackheath and Woolwich beds may be seen. These strata contain marine shells, sharks teeth and fossilised animal burrows
