Question
Where can I buy the CD/recordings/records of Stoney and Meat Loaf?
Answer
Three of the Stoney and Meat Loaf recordings have now been released on CD.
Firstly the song "(I'd Love To Be) As Heavy As Jesus" is available on the Motown Gospel compilation CD "Key To The Kingdom". Though you are unlikely to find this available new it is not particularly hard to find a used copy. There are copies regularly available on Ebay and on Amazon.
Secondly the tracks “What You See Is What You Get” and “It Takes All Kinds Of People” have been released on the three disc CD compilation issued by Readers Digest entitled “The Ultimate Motown Collection – Soul Mates”. The above release contains a nice booklet which includes a piece about Stoney and Meat Loaf (interestingly that the information about Stoney seems to have been sourced at least originally form this web site). This CD compilation is more difficult to find but copies do occasionally crop up on Ebay. Having now finally surfaced on one compilation it would not surprise me to see if appear on others over the next few years!
None of the other Stoney and Meat Loaf tracks have been released on CD. To listen to these other tracks you will need the facility to play vinyl and purchase some of the albums/singles which are listed in detail on the Track Listings Page. None of these vinyl records are currently available new but to be honest they are not particularly difficult to find at on line second hand record stores and auction sites.
Suggested links are shown below:
Netsounds (Search for "Stoney" as Title and then again as Artist)
Ebay

Please note I am not recommending or in anyway endorsing the above sources. I am not being paid anything to provide these links - this is simply an attempt by me to answer the question I am most frequently asked. Of course just because some traders have Stoney and Meat Loaf records listed in their catalogues it does not necessarily follow that they are still available.
