'Stop staring.'
'I'm not staring.'
'Mark, you were so staring.'
'No I wasn't.'
'I don't mind you know if you look at other women, occasionally.'
'Don't you?'
'No, I don't. Because I know I can trust you and you love me.'
'Right.'
'So what did you like about her?'
'Nothing. I mean, I wasn't looking. Er, do you want another coffee?'
'You mean you want to go over there and have a closer look.'
'Er, no.'
'So, go on.'
'???'
'Tell me what you liked about her.'
'Um.'
'Go on. It's ok. I won't be angry.
'Well, um, she had a lovely slim legs - just like yours! - and, er ... Ouch. What was that for?'
'Be serious, Mark. What did you like about her?' After all, you were talking to her for 10 minutes in the cashpoint queue, and you've been sitting here staring at her for the last half an hour.'
'I was only being polite.'
'Tell me, Mark! What's so attractive about her?'
'Er, well, ok. She's got really nice eyes - ice blue.'
'Go on.'
'And she was on her own and she seemed a bit sad.'
'... oooh-kay.'
'Well, maybe not sad. Mysterious. That's it. There was an air of mystery about her.'
'Go on.'
'Er, that's it.'
'Hmm ... Mark.'
'Er, yes Alice.'
'Do you think there's an air of mystery about me?'
'...'
'Hmm. Obviously not, then.'
'Right, er. No, no, I mean. Listen, Alice -'
'I'll see you back at the hotel.'
'Sorry?'
'I'm going back to the hotel.'
'Why?'
'Perhaps I'll see you later.'
'Alice, wait. Alice, come back, please.'
'Alice, you've got all our money.'
'Bollocks.'
