	A Soldier's Tunic is a darkly romantic period short written and directed by Simon Bovey. Produced through the collaboration of Tinder Films and Cheltenham Film Studios, it was shot on HD with Panasonic's Varicam and with post on Quantel's iQ system. It was one of the first UK dramas to enjoy a total High Definition workflow (read more on the production page).
	A Soldier's Tunic has been screened at international festivals including: ~ HDFEST 2004 World Tour - its premiere in Sydney, Australia and then venues in America, Finland & the UK ~ Los Angeles International Short Film Festival ~ Sweet HD Edinburgh ~ Festival du Cinema de Paris ~ BBC Big Screen Birmingham
It has also become a key element of Panasonic Europe's promotional showreel for the DVCPro HD Varicam. Stills and screenings of the film have been shown at industry events worldwide.
