Welcome to the website for St Peter’s.  We are the Anglican Church serving Toton, a growing suburban community halfway between Nottingham and Derby, close to the M1 at junction 25.  It has its origins back in the 1950s when Toton was still a small village, but it has now grown (in people and buildings) to be a thriving, modern worship and community centre.

Toton has just two Christian churches and St Peter’s has a long-standing covenant with the Methodist Church along the road. In practice that means that many of our activities are shared, including cell groups, Alpha courses and youth work.  The two churches have also jointly set up Network, a recent initiative designed to cater for the new housing development at the Chilwell Meadows end of the parish.

Sunday services reflect a variety of approaches to worship. We are known for genuinely catering for all ages, so we attract plenty of children and even more teens.
