The Parish
The Parish of Ferintosh is centred
on the villages of Maryburgh and Conon Bridge, which are situated on
opposite banks of the River Conon near its estuary, with Ben Wyvis as
its backdrop. Included in the Parish are the rural districts of Loch
Ussie to the West and Mulbuie to the East. The combined population of
the villages is approximately 3,000. This is increasing steadily as
there are many housing estates being developed in the area. The
Congregation has a roll of 200 members and 70 adherents. There are 24
Elders and 33 members on the Congregational Board. The Church is
situated in the village of Conon Bridge and has a convenient Car Park
adjacent. The Church Hall is immediately behind the Church.
Conon Bridge can be found to the west of the Black
Isle. This map shows our location.
