Stroud Rambling Club has a partnership with D.AV. Reutlingen Section which has been active for some years now with exchange visits for walks & culture held every 2 years. We have been walking as guests  in The Swabian Alps, and hut to hut mountain walks in Austria.

A weeks walking with our German Partnership Club... Reutlingen D.A.V  12th -20th August 2006                                                                                       in Swanage along the  Jurassic Coast path & Exford on Exmoor.  A fine weeks walking with  good weather  (for England)

PROPOSED EXCHANGE VISIT WITH D.A.V.REUTLINGEN. SWABIAN ALB AREA 2008

The arrangements are moving forward  with our friends in Reutlingen and there will be a booking form in the next mailing. The date will be early August 2008 for one week and the estimated cost will be around £500. This will include coach travel from Stroud, flight, local travel in Germany, and accommodation – B/B and evening meals.

There will be two levels of walks, some tourist visits and socialising!  They are a great group of people and we hope S.R.C.members will support this venture.
