Below is a sample itinerary & Hotel information
The scenery here is breathtaking. The mountains are awe-inspiring with crystal clear
mountain streams
, miles of forests, pristine lakes and majestic mountain peaks which oftenstill have snow on them until June. Bulgaria is the same size as Britain but with a population
of only 8 million people, that leaves a lot of space free for nature!
I have attached an example of the kind of walking holiday we organise for our guests. The
itinerary is flexible and we alter the length and difficulty of the walks to suit each individual
group.. This price includes your return transfers to Sofia airport, breakfast, lunch and three
course evening meal, all your drinks*, four days guided walking, one full day and one half
day excursion including picnic lunch.
Our hotel is newly built in a traditional Bulgarian style. We have just eight bedrooms,
sleeping up to 20 guests. Every bedroom is en-suite and has a TV, internet access and a
balcony with outstanding views. Downstairs we have a mehana (Bulgarian restaurant/bar)
where we serve both English and Bulgarian food, freshly prepared from local organic
ingredients.
In front of the hotel there is a south-facing balcony, perfect for relaxing with a drink in your
hand and watching the sun set behind the mountains! If you want to take things easy, you can
laze on the sun loungers round our outdoor pool.
This corner of Bulgaria is a place of old traditions, set apart from the bustle of the modern
world (the horse and cart is still a common mode of transport here). We look forward to
welcoming you and showing you around.
