This long weekend will comprise 2 lengths of grade 3 walks. 2 half day walks in the Bude and Boscastle area and 2 day walks along some of the best coastal stretches on the South West Coastal Path. From Port Gaverne past the legendary Tintagel Castle to Boscastle, a truly wild walk with fascinating views of incredible rock formations. Also from Port Isaac to Polzeath a truly wonderful coastal section almost like walking on a balcony above the sea. Although hard, these walks will greatly reward the effort involved.
Some of the walks are linear so members should bear this in mind when driving themselves. Leaders will try to accommodate this in the walk arrangements for those not in the car pool. There will be two levels of walk.
Accommodation will be in the delightful Boscastle Youth Hostel which has been completely refurbished since the floods in 2004. Although self catering there are plenty of pubs in the village.
COST £54.85 for 3 nights per person
