Healing Services

The service takes the form of an informal Communion service. It offers an opportunity to pray for those in need, to receive the laying on of hands & anointing for healing, & using the Bible, music & silence it gives time for meditation, relaxation & fellowship.

Other Services

Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday & Ascension Day are normally joint services with our neighbouring parishes of All Saints, Elton & St James, Woolfold; locations being rotated on a regular basis.

A Eucharist for the Commemoration of the Departed is held at St. Stephen's on the evening of Remembrance Sunday for those who have been bereaved. On the morning of Remembrance Sunday there is a traditional, non-communion service, with two minutes silence to remember those who gave up their lives in the two World Wars & other conflicts.
