OCTOBER 2009
The model of the Grant Tower ruins at Urquhart castle has now been released along with two new Celtic cross designs and memorial pieces for William Wallace and the Scottish Covenanter martyrs. Work has begun on a re-construction model of Cot Castle, a Lanarkshire fortified tower house. New Pictish and Celtic paintings have been released. New Celtic & Pictish paintings by C.B. O’Reilly are now available. Paintings of the Crannog and St.Ninians Kirk are now underway.
SEPTEMBER 2009
Modelmaking work has finally restarted with two new Celtic cross pieces as well as a William Wallace Celtic Cross and a Covenanters memorial. All will be available plinth mounted, wall hanging or unmounted. I have been asked on several occasions for a model of the ruins of the Grant Tower at Urquhart Castle. This model is near completion and, along with the new Celtic designs will be released at the end of the month. Future shows that I will be attending with the sales stand are at Dunlop community centre on 6th November and the Christmas fair at Dean Castle, Kilmarnock on Sunday 6th December.
AUGUST 2009 High levels of manufacturing and commission work is continuing and is still having an impact on new model development. The number of retail outlets that are stocking my products is continuing to grow. My Celtic designs and tenement models have proved very popular this year, as have the castles. This autumn and winter I will be concentrating on expanding these ranges first before any other subjects. The artwork and photography collection is continuing to evolve with new paintings by C.B. O’Reilly.
