The Longline Studio model collection is a growing range of ornamental models by Stuart Fellowes. These pieces are hand made at every stage. Cast in either resin, bonded stone or bonded bronze, these highly detailed ornaments capture in miniature, the spirit of Scotland from days gone by. They are designed to be a lasting reminder of how our ancestors used to live by depicting each subject as it was in its heyday. Each model is meticulously researched. In the case of the castle reconstructions, Stuart makes reference to many contemporary drawings of the subject, combined with his experience in interpreting the remains of walls and foundations to produce an inspired artists impression.
The range of Celtic and Pictish pieces are inspired by and depict the artistry and symbolism of the folk that lived many centuries before us.
