The Genealogy of The Cabrach

This database attempts to detail all of the people of Cabrach parish, historically split between Aberdeenshire & Banffshire. All legible data in the OPR has been used, plus the census data from 1841 to 1901, many statutory certificates and other sources.
The majority of people in the database are linked, either by direct descent or through marriage. Those who are in this category are named in lower case, e.g. "James Gordon". Those not linked, but with some added information are styled "James GORDON". Persons with no extra information are styled "JAMES GORDON". For parents whose birth date is not known, a label 1000, 1001, etc is given to differentiate between people of the same name.
I can recommend http://www.threestones.co.uk/ for more general information about The Cabrach. .
The census from 1841 to 1901 can be viewed or downloaded as a set of Excel spreadsheets annotated with family information. Census Download
