Beer Festivals > Ealing Broadway (May 2004)
The 15th "Beer on Broadway" took place in the midle of May, with two rooms and over 60 beers. As far as organisation goes, it was one of the best I've been to - the beer list had very good notes, and all the beers were catagerised into what sort they were (strong/dark/light/mild/stout etc). Similarly, the beers were organised in location by type, which made finding the ones you were after very easy.
Made it to Ealing by lunchtime, but as it was the final day of the fest a lot of the beers had gone or been replaced. It was also a phenominally hot day, and the air con wasn't doing a great job in the town hall - so we didn't stay too long. There was time to try out the tombola though, winning a half-pint tankard (not sure how useful that's going to be...) and experimented with some of the food (cheesy pasta slop - which was exactly what was required at the time)
