Bert

Date of Birth: 4.10.1996

Bert attended 7 All Breeds Open Shows and at 4 shows as a puppy won 4 firsts, 4 BPIB, 1 BOB, 1 Puppy Group 1, 3 Puppy Group 2's and 1 adult Group 1. Out of 3 shows as an adult he won 3 firsts, 3 BOB 1 Group 3 and 1  RBIS.  RBD at Akita Association Speciality Show.  He also won numerous 1sts and placings at Championship shows including BPIB.  He was also 2nd Limit Dog at Crufts 2001.

Bert as a puppy

He loves nothing better than to play with our newest arrivals, teaching them respect for their elders as well as a few naughty tricks, like taking the cushions off the couch and spreading their contents around the house!

He divides his time between the house in the day, with Tasha the house dog, and the kennels at night ever watchful over his family (Akita and human).  He has the true Akita spirit, as did his father, Omar, our first Akita male.
