Tommy has matured into a striking example of the breed, he has all the qualities an Akita should have, everything in moderation, nothing exaggerated. As you can see from the photographs he fits EVERY requirement of the breed standard perfectly, what you are unable to see from his photographs is his movement, again exactly what the standard calls for, "Vigorous, powerful and fluent with strides of moderate length. Back remains firm and level. Hindlegs move in line with front legs, ........." Consequently, when Gary moves Tommy he allows him to move freely and flowingly, no hops skips, jumps or any other handling techniques are used to cover up poor movement and bad confirmation. (If it aint built right it can't move right!) He demonstrated this to perfection at Crufts 2007, no matter how many times the judge sent him around the ring Tommy's movement was flawless, keeping his topline and precise movement on every step. We feel very honoured to share our life with this awesome boy who, in our opinion, is everything an Akita should be, he is a true ambassador for the Breed both in and out of the show ring. Thank you to everyone who has expressed the same sentiments and his breeders Chris & Tina of Nosferatu Akitas.

Tommy pictured January 2004 taking the dog CC and his first Best of Breed at Manchester Championship Dog Show. Judge Mr Andrew Clarke of the World famous Anshee Kennels. What the Judge had to say about Tommy: "19 months white. Super headed dog, short muzzle and blunt triangular shaped head, great pigmentation for a white, with black lips, eye rims and nose. Well matured for his age. Good heavy bone, correct proportions of height to length giving a most pleasing outline, so important in a solid coloured dog. In great coat and condition, well muscled, a steady mover, he showed great ring presence today and stood out from the others, CC & BOB."
