Mobile Recording

If you need to someone to record you or your band please give me a call. Music or spoken word performances. If you are making a video recording I can provide digital quality audio recordings and then I have the post production capabilities to add this audio to video, using Apple's Final Cut or Soundtrack Pro. I work in tandem with AE Productions and Rainbow Productions who both provide an excellent video recording and editing service.

I am an experienced sound engineer and can record you in pretty much any location. Whether it's in your home or on location, in a rehearsal studio or at a gig.

I have recorded many projects on location varying in size from front rooms to the Fairfield Halls in Croydon and in Schools and Churches.

My most recent is recording is Cutting Crew in December 2011 at Trading Boundaries using my MacBook and a Roland 2480 Hard disk recorder. I also recorded Focus at Trading Boundaries for their 2011 tour. Using 3 MOTUs (some provided by AE Productions) I got a 24 track recording that sounds great. Hoping that it becomes a live album. I also have recorded Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash at Trading Boundaries in Sussex (4th Feb 2011) in conjunction with AE Productions who were shooting a video of the gig. I have mixed 3 tracks from the performance and they are currently with Andrew at AE Productions to be added to the video. AE Productions have also shot a video of Focus at the same venue back in September 2010. I was away at the time but have mixed and mastered two tracks to go with the video.

Using an Apple MacBook and MOTU hardware and Logic, Cubase or Digital Performer. I can make high quality recordings for you.

I can make Mono, Stereo or Multitrack recordings up to 12 tracks simultaneously. N.B. If more channels are needed I will arrange extra hardware to achieve this.
