Public opinion seems to be divided over a contentious trend being touted as the next big fashion for men skirts. Our reporter Andrew Wenzel took to the streets to gauge the mood around this issue. There are those with inclinations towards kilts who don't seem to mind the idea. ";I've got a bit of Scot in me, so I could do that,"; one man says, although another says, ";I used to wear a kilt but I don't think I could wear that."; Of course there would be the issue of borrowing clothes from wives and girlfriends. ";I think my wife would be jealous if I did, there's not enough cupboard space,"; someone retorts. More seriously, one woman expresses a concern about men ";losing the art of being men."; However, another thinks, ";my husband would look fantastic in a skirt!"; Even though someone else quips, ";If you've seen my husband, no!"; my husband would look fantastic in a skirt! There is a serious issue amongst all the fun though, because it is suggested skirts would help improve male fertility. As one passer by comments, ";fertility's a huge problem in the Western World so maybe that's what we're going to turn it around with."; |
