REPLACING SELECTED
COLOURS
Sometimes you might want to change the
colour of a character or object within a scene you have already
created. It`s a good idea to choose specific colours for your main
characters and to avoid using that particular colour for anything
else in a scene because if you want to replace a colour using this
facility it will replace ALL instances of that colour on
a chosen level or throughout all levels of the scene depending on
which option you choose.
To start replacing colours you need to
choose a frame within the level you want to process by clicking on
the Dope Sheet
to bring up the Dope Sheet Edit
Form as below....
Select the Replace Selected Colours button
then left-click on the Do
It! button. You will then see the
Model Control Form form, as below.
Left click the Colour > Pick Colour From Image menu item.
Then select the colour that you want to
replace from the image by left-clicking on it. You then need to
select a colour that you want to use as a replacement by clicking on
the Choose New Colour button.....
This will bring up a colour dialogue box
from which you can choose the colour you want.
You then need to choose whether you want
to replace the colour on just the current selected Dope Sheet level or if you want
to replace the colour on all the Dope
Sheet levels. The default is the single
level but to choose an option click on the Replace Colours menu item and
choose from the sub-menu as below...
Having chosen which option to use then
click on the Replace Colour button...
The programme will then run through the
images and change the selected colour, showing each image in turn. If
you decide you don`t like the new choice of colour you can simply go
through the whole process again changing to another colour.
When your task is complete click on the
Back To Main Form button.
