There are thirteen of us and, as many as can manage, meet in each others houses every Friday morning during 'term time'. At the moment we are three men and ten women.
For about an hour we do our best to talk in French about whatever comes into our heads. Then it is time for coffee and cake before we we go on with our current French novel- at present Jean de Florette by Marcel Pagual.
We take it in turns to to read a paragraph and translate it, with suggestions from others.
