French Conversation 1

We have 9 ladies and 1 gentlemen in the group which meets between 10am and noon, at my house every Thursday morning. We are at different levels of understanding and ability but we all find the meetings enjoyable.

We start with some French conversation, prompted by "Qu'est ce que vous avez fait la semaine derniere? , while having a cup of tea or coffee and then proceed onto work through the grammar book. We read the text and translate in turn, before listening to the tape of the passage. The piece is then written down as dictation and in this way we improve our pronunciation, spelling and understanding.

The group shares the cost of purchase of the magazine "Rendez-vous Francais" and associated cassettes and this is useful stories and puzzles.

We can only cater for a limited number.
