The Sunday Lunch Groups were started four years ago by Rosetta Nicholson and have been very successful. For people living alone it is very congenial to go out once a month with a group of like minded people, who quickly become friends.
There are currently six groups, 4 for 'singles' and 2 for couples. Each group is autonomous and meet on the Sundays of their choosing.
In January each year, there is an intergroup gathering at which all members are invited.
