Dyno Day I part III

For this test we ran stock reeds and air box plus my stuffers. Usual thing one run at 55C followed by 3 in succession. First of the three is plotted on the graph. The aim of this test was to see if there is any great difference between blackboxes and if there is any difference between KR1 boxes and KR-1S boxes. We have 5 boxes 2 of which we think might be KR1 but all boxes are marked up the same. Anyway as you can see from the graph there isn't alot to choose between the boxes. Can't say that there is a difference between a KR1 and a KR-1S box as nothing showed up. We would have tried Andy's but it would have meant taking half the bike apart to get to it. The only comment Sean made was that my spare box (yellow curve) seemed keener to rev on. So that went straight onto my machine. My box looks like the worst. It might be that the ignition coils make a difference as they charge the Capacitor but it is not something we could test easily.
