Season 1

In season 1, all 3 divisions were equal, with teams placed in divisions in season 2 based on final placings. Only 3 of the managers below still play today, and only Peter Stanton has the same team with the same name. Massimo Monciardini, who founded the Italian hobby, is particularly missed. Mark Boyle, who brought conflict and discord, isn't. This was a good season for Canine City, whose distinctive 4-4-2 formation (unusual in many United games) brought great success.

Season 2

Season 2 saw the first promotion and relegation, and also the Anglo-Italian Cup, a cross-league competition. This was the first of many cup final meetings between Beppi Menozzi's Pitchwheels and Sine Language: here though, it was Beppi's first Italian side, not Pitchwheels IV who joined TPL later. This was also the season that Mark Boyle left in a blaze of bluster and abuse, after a serious bust up with Phil Shulkind.
Little Englanders make it 2 division wins in 2 years, and indeed the three divisional winners of the season before finish in the top three positions. The Chocolats and Sine Language begin to win things, as the cream begins to rise to the top. Ian Le Brocq's Interceptors disappoint though, and begin to get the reputation as perennial underacheivers that will last through many managers.

Season 3

This years Anglo-Italian Cup sees an all-English final, and one of the most attacking finals ever, with 3-2-5 versus 2-3-5. The Chocolats become the first team to retain a trophy, winning the Premier League Shield for the second time. Richard Ramsden leaves his first team, but like many managers, he'll be back. A brief rush of success for The Interceptors following their first change of managers, while Sine Language have a rare off season.

Season 4

The season the Anglo-Italian Cup died. A mixed bag of winners, but Pitchwheels IV have a particularly good season, while Sine Language at last manage to get out of Division 3. Pooch City can't quite manage to win the league or the cup, but not a bad season all the same.

Season 5

The Chocolats add Division 1 to last years Division 2 honours, while Arkham (formerly The Interceptors), under their third manager (or is it fourth?) finally reach the division they deserve to be in, as do Sine Language. A particularly scary season for The Chocolats rivals, as they also win the Youth Cup!

Season 6

The Chocolats win the league for the second successive year, while Riding The Tiger confirm earlier promise and The Biscuits go up as expected. In the cups, Sine Language and Pitchwheels dominate (even with the latter missing ex-manager Beppi Menozzi), and share the honours.

Season 7

In Progress. So far, Sine Language have successfully held onto the Shield for another year, and indeed are still on course to win all competitions, a feat never achieved before. Richard Ramsden returned to the game after a long absence, and got instant success with Grand Prix Rovers.
