BIO:
Tendency To Talk was conceived
about three years ago after local band Joe's Bad Haircut split
up and went off to University. Whilst there I continued to write
a variety of songs - some which fit into the "adrenaline emo" sound
of JBH, and some far more relaxed. Rather than doing nothing about
it I attempted to record them using a dodgy laptop, a stolen microphone,
a battered mini-disc player and numerous other gadgets to get the
songs layered into a full sound. It was a tiresome process which
yielded questionable results - the songs were listenable, but barely.
Thanks to the efforts of a friend in
the know, some acoustic tracks were put down using professional equipment,
which was very encouraging.
That was nearly two years ago and since then new recording equipment
has been acquired allowing a full band sound with CD quality results.
