  The syllabus sets out the basic framework by which students are to assessed. The techniques and knowledge required for each grade are set out in outline form only. Taikido Kai Karate is both an eclectic system amd a flexible one allowing people of differing abilities to achieve the same goals by different routes.

Kobudo & Iado for Advanced Students 

Those students who have shown an aptitude for the martial arts and displayed a serious attitude toward training may also begin to learn the use of various classical Okinawan weapons as listed below. The training syllabus will be directed by the instructor.

As a separate study the art of Iado is also introduced.
