Next update soon.

Added/Update on 14.04.2012

Well it's been a long time since my last update. That's because my go kart project was put on hold. The reason being, i got my hand on a Woodstar ATC. And have been "tinkering" with it last year. I will add more details about this soon.

The main reason for todays update is to add my PS3 controller, that i've made, to the site.

My E-motion wheelchair wheels broke. So I had to buy new ones, and then painted them again with " Dark Side of The Moon " Pink Floyd. I think they're better than the first atempt.

P.S. I hope to get back on the kart soon. Did get on last year due to stuff.

Bit About Me.

I broke my neck in a diving accident back in July 1994 aged 20. It left me a complete C5 tetraplegic. (See My level of injury page). I came out of hospital in February 1995, and lived at my parents until I moved in to my own place in November 1999. I have 24-hour care.

Before the accident I liked to drive cars and used to race go-karts, for fun, at my local kart track.

I don’t drive know, mainly because it would cost too much for an adapted vehicle. _
Not being able to drive was a big disappointment for me, and I thought I would never drive myself again. Then back in 2006, when I had a bit of spare cash, I thought about trying to make a go-kart I could drive. I knew the steering was going to be the hardest thing to make work, but I had some ideas going on in my head. Plus I needed my Mum and Dad to do all the mechanics for me. Both of who have never done anything like that. (They were both nurses before ill health forced them to retire). But they follow my instructions very well.

I rely on my parent to do the work on the kart. And they can only help 2 or 3 times a month, so it has been slow going.

This site will be added to as I get bits done.
