| A Touch of Colour |
| "A
Touch of Colour" is a 12-minute video film showing
me at work on a painting called The Track, from the first
rolled out line of plasticine through to the completed
painting. The video was made in 2004 by Catalin Brylla, who was then a media studies student at Royal Holloway College, London and many hours of filming - including some outdoor shots - were done before this film was finished. The video has been shown throughout the world at various film festivals including: 100% Art (Tel Aviv), Assim Vivemos (Rio De Janeiro), The Other Film Festival (Melbourne), Un Minuto del Otro (Santiago de Chile) and Picture This Film Festival (Calgary). Catalin Brylla now works as a freelance editor and is Head of Post-Production at the London Academy of Radio, Film and TV, where he teaches a range of post-production courses. Catalin is also Visiting Lecturer at the International Film School, Wales. |
