Jet is a 12-year-old gelding who suffered soft tissue damage after a fall in the field and had been lame for some time, displaying a high jerky rear leg action similar to stringhalt. He was also very grumpy.
He tested for Yarrow and Carrotseed. After two weeks of inhaling his oils his leg action was much improved and he has now done some light ridden work. His temperament is much improved with a return to the happy, mischievous pony he was before the accident.
Flump is a year old English Setter. He is prone to tummy upsets and in this instance was vomiting and also had diarrohea. After a course of antibiotics from the vets his temperature returned to normal but his stools were still loose and he was ambivalent about food.
He tested for Peppermint and Sweet Orange and was very interested in both of these oils. He chose to both inhale and lick them for five days. His appetite returned and all his functions returned to normal.
Update - Unfortunately Flump died Aug 2003 of Pneumonia, aged two and a half - he is much missed.
