Polly Joke is one of those out of the way
beaches that you would not find unless
you know how to get there.
Below are directions.
Camping site on the road just before gate down to the beach.
and one half way down the track through the gate.
From Newquay head towards Crantock. Go straight through Crantock
on the way to West Pentire. Just as you leave Crantock turn left
it will be labelled Treago caravan & camping. Go down lane for
0.3 of a mile until you get to a gate at the end of the lane, there will
be no markings on the gate. Go through gate (making sure you close
it behind you please) and drive down rough track for 0.4 of a mile and
at the end will come to a small parking area run by the National Trust.
About five minutes walk from car park to the beach.
