welcome to guilty plea's website

Hello! We're Guilty Plea, a four-piece rock and blues band, playing everything from classic rock to contemporary numbers — from Cream to Snow Patrol and tons in between.

Based in east Devon, we've been together for a few years now, and love being out on the live circuit, playing both pubs and private functions.

It's our 1st birthday! Well, sort of. We played at Anita and Pete's wedding party on Saturday, which was exactly a year to the day that we first played with this line up.

And it's been mental on the gigs front!

We had a hard and fast February and March with eight gigs in nine weeks. Darren admits it was a full-on few weeks with gigs in Exeter, Sidmouth, Crediton, Chard and Cullumpton.

We had a blinding time during Christmas and New Year's. All the gigs went fantastically well, and we were so glad to be out doing our thing for all you lovely people. Darren's put virtual pen to cyber paper and spilled the beans on the season's fun. Read about it here.

Now, though, it's back to the business in hand of planning for the coming year. Christmas may have come and gone, but that's no reason to be blue. Make a New Year's resolution and come along to see us at one of our many gigs during the coming year.

It's Chrrrriiiiissssttttmmmmaaaassss!

Hang up your stockings and dust off your best Noddy Holder impression, boys and girls, it's that time of year again! Santa's coming (steady!), presents have been bought and wrapped and even the Web Monkey's wearing a festive hat! (We haven't told it's meant for his head.)

We're out and about, spreading festive cheer with our own special brand of merry, so come and see us during the Chrimble period and shake your thang! Head over to the gigs page to see where we're to. And if you do come see us, wander over and say hello. We don't bite...Not usually, anyway.

Before we head off to spend money on shiny baubles and stuff our hungry little faces with turkey, we'd like to say a special "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year" to all those of you who've come to our gigs and said nice things about us. It's been a terrific year so far!
