Reviews

Fantastic - This is one of those DVDs that you can watch time after time, and still find something new and funny to laugh at. Incredibly clever in it's conception, well written, and such that there must be at least one actual 1980's television programme that this reminds you of. Think of "Police Squad" meets "The Young Doctors" whilst treating "The A-Team"!!! Superb! (TennisMark from Play.com)

Weird, Wacky and Wonderful Garth Marenghi's Dark Place is quite simply one of the craziest and funniest shows ever created. It is made as if it was done in the 80's and then cancelled. It is authentic: it has jittery camera shots, weird angles and sudden changes in scenes that really make it believable. If you can ignore stuff like things that are meant to be floating are being held up by string then this show is for you. (paulo111 from Play.com)

This is the bast show ever created!!!You will not find a more random show on the planet. I thought The Mighty Boosh was strange and funny, but it is nothing compared to this. If you buy the series look out for the amazing acting skills of Thornton Reed. (gilly55 from Play.com)

Pure Genius - The best comedy in the last few years easily, possibley the best commedy in the last few decades - could even be the best comedy ever.  So funny it you have to pause the dvd to laugh to make sure you don't miss anything.  The only bad thing is that it ends. (dr_james2k)

Easter Eggs

On the settings menu if you choose the colour bars and wait for about 2 minutes you'll be treated to a selection of clips ranging from an advert for Dean's new TV channel to unused parts for the talking heads.

On Pam's Home videos if you listen carefully you can hear Garth having an argument with someone.

Clicking on Madeline Wool on the  menu will take you to the complete Darkplace Soundtrack

Note: The Pam's Video 2 canister was only put on the menu as a joke to entertain us, that's all we know Rick!
