SOCIAL AND OTHER EVENTS; NEWS

A further series of free French films, themed on 1968 “events”, is showing at the Maison Française (Maison Française d'Oxford, Norham Road, Oxford OX2 6SE Tel. 01865 274220). Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, therefore please arrive in good time. There is free parking in Norham Road after 6.30pm. Banbury Road buses stop nearby (Park Town stop). For details see below.

Sunday 18^th May 2.30pm: Gather at the Cutteslowe Park Miniature Railway (OS GR 451000,210600; see also http://www.cosme.org.uk/Pages/Location.html ) for a ride (60p) or two on the miniature railway. Refreshment kiosk nearby; mini-picnic possible in the Park if fine. No need to book.

	LANGUAGE MEETINGS All language meetings below are held at: The Oxford Spires Four Pillars Hotel, Abingdon Road, Oxford 8 -10 pm (unless otherwise specified) French meetings are generally held on the SECOND and FOURTH Tuesdays of each month, and Spanish meetings on the FIRST and THIRD Tuesdays. Italian occasionally, as announced.
