Probably because he is also a great DJ as well as a top producer, but Quantic never ceases to amaze me in the way he keeps knocking out superb LP's that are consistently bang on the money for where I am musically at the time or release. Tropidelico is no exception, in fact it is his best so far! It comes soaked in the love we call Latin, never lets go of the funk, soul and jazz and features both my favourite MC J Live and Rebirth's beautiful vocalist Noelle Scaggs on one of the massive stand out tracks 'Lead us to the end' and Kabir will make your hair stand on end with the lord thanking 'Who Knows'. You could not ask for more!
We get track after track after track of explosive dancefloor delights that will sound as cool in the club as they will on the radio or on your I-pod.
Hopefully a nod to way of things in the future, if you buy the LP you get a copy of the CD free - result!! Without a doubt one of the best LP's of 2007, and we wouldn't expect anything less.Tracklisting
