The Logic Zone

Six young couples (one girl & one boy) are dating & one fine October evening they all found themselves venturing to The Forbidden Wood. Rumours were aplenty; apparently, many strange happenings had occurred here. This did not deter the young lovers. However, as the evening progressed vivid imaginations began to surface.

What are the names of each couple, what did they hear & what did they imagine the noise to be?

1. Jasper didn't imagine that he heard a ghoul or UFO. One couple have the same initial.

2. Adrian, but not Karen, heard an owl, but he didn't think it was a UFO invading or a bear prowling.

3. Colleen imagined the noise that she heard was a pack of Werewolves, but this wasn't with Darren or Adrian.

4. Jenny was in a difficult relationship with either Adrian or Trevor. The rustling leaves or the howling was imagined to be the werewolves.

5. Phillipa heard a loud shriek, she was not with Trevor (neither was Liz) and she didn't imagine that it was a bear on the prowl.

6. The branches creaking were imagined to be a door opening into another dimension.

7. Darren is with Liz or Karen, none of these imagined they had heard a bear or ghoul.

8. Zac was spending time in the woods with his fiancé Tracy; they did not hear a siren or rustling leaves and neither did they imagine they had heard a zombie.

9. Darren didn't hear howling or rustling leaves, but he imagined he heard either a zombie or a UFO.
