Eight children, each wearing different coloured scarves went out in the snow intending to follow a certain pursuit. However, they all decided to build snowmen (snowwomen) instead and each child called their snowperson by a particular name. These snow(wo)men all had a problem at the time or shortly after they were finished The first and second names of the snow(wo)men can be placed in the first column.

Grace wore the black scarf and she made a snowwoman, but not the one whose maker went out skating. Mr _ Age was made by Sally and she wore a blue scarf. Jenny made Mr. Snow _ and wore an orange scarf. Bessie who went Sledging wore the red scarf; her snowperson did not have a complete melt down or have a button fall off. Mr Ice_ and Mrs. Ice_were made by girls; Mr _Blaine was made by Bob. It was Sarah, (she didn't go out intending to make a snow angel) who had a red & yellow scarf and who made the snow person who had a lopsided mouth., whose name is not Mrs Brass_. The person intending to go out sledging made Mr_Frosty. The person intending to go out snow boarding made Mr_Ball, this person didn't wear a pink scarf. The person who made Mr Cold_ didn't go out intending to make a snow angel, but his snowman did lose his carrot nose. The person whose snow person lost his scarf did not make Mr_Blaine, but was intending to go out and play snowballs, his snow person was not called Mr Cold_ or Mr Frozen_. Mrs_Cream had a lopsided mouth, she was not made by the person with a green scarf which was worn by the person who made Mr _Stiff, whose arm melted. Mrs_Bite was made by the person with a purple scarf, but not by Sarah who was intending to ski. Mrs_Monkey transformed into a big snowball after being completed. Her maker did not wear a green scarf. Mrs Frost_ was made by Belinda. Stella who intended to go walking made a snowman. Mr Cold_'s maker wore the red scarf. The person who made Mr Chill_ whose second name isn't cream wore the pink scarf and Mr Chill_'s maker wasn't intending to make a snow angel. Mr_Ball did not completely melt down. The person intending to walk their dog did not make the snowwoman whose head fell off.
