Five travellers went hiking in different mountain ranges all thinking they had what it takes to defeat the peaks, but they all ended up being trapped in their tents for a certain number of days before being rescued.

What mountain range did each traveller go to, what type of tent did they take and how many days were they lost for?

1. The guy that travelled to the Andes was lost for 12 or 17 days.

2. The Dome tent was not used for exactly 17 days but was used for longer than the Hoop tent.


3. Super Sam had 1 months camping experience in his back garden before he took off. He did not go to the Alps and he was not lost for the longest or shortest time.

4. Dynamic Den did not go to the Karakoram Range, but was lost for exactly 3 more days than the camper that used the avian tent.

5. The A-frame tent was used for less than 14 days, but not by Mad Alec or Nutty Norris.

6. The person lost for 10 days, the traveller to the Rockies, Mad Alec, the Himalayan traveller and the man that slept in a Dome tent were different people.

7. The Himalayan traveller was trapped for longer than the traveller to the rockies.

8. Artful Fred did not travel to the Karakoram Range or the Alps, but he did end up trapped in his tent for precisely 2 more days than the pyramid tent dweller, after spotting what he thought was a sabre toothed rabbit, but ended up prooving to be a harmess little gerbil.
