The Rodents' Revenge - Part 2


 

Part 1 must be completed to enable part 2 to be completed.

After their harrowing experiences the six downtrodden rodents all met at midnight under a large weeping willow in the field opposite from the orchard They all exuded an air of wanting some kind of revenge and decided gnawing was the key.

Can you work out what they all planned to gnaw, in which order these gnaws were to be carried out and which of them was on standby if the first gnawer was unable to complete the task?

1st Gnawer Item to Gnaw Stand-by Position

 

The rat's task was to gnaw the fruit in the fruit bowl, hoping to poison Mr. Rattan if other tasks failed; he was not on standby for gnawing the telephone cable, but his task was 1 position before Midge's Task and 1 position after the Vole's task.

The rodent whose home was under the hedgerow had his task to complete 2 positions after the task where the rodent on standby, was the rodent whose stored food was lettuce.

The task that the rodent that stored the walnuts was to complete involved electrics, possibly house cables, and took place 2 places before the other electric task was to take place and 1 place behind the phone cable task, where Gunner was not on standby.

The task that was to be completed by Tenner was to be completed by the squirrel if he failed; this was not the first task.

The rodent on standby for gnawing the staircase was Shunt; this task was 3 places after the task where Gunner was on standby.

The rodent that had the home of the pear tree was on standby for gnawing the bicycle tyre.

Midge was not on standby for gnawing the electric cables on the car, which was not to happen last.
