If approaching from the S, the car park is not by the large gate and mine road, but is a smaller car park with a finger post a short way further on. The footpath is through a gate on the N side of the fence which leads to the trig point (plenty of gorse about), The spoil heap to the E dominates the trig and is solid and grassed over (in part). The highest point of this is at SX 0037 57383.
